Trauma

Addictions aren’t just about drug addicts and alcoholics like you may think.

All humans are addicted to actions and behaviors of their own and others.

Some of these are healthy. Many are not.

  • What is an addiction?

  • Which ones are healthy

  • Which ones are unhealthy?

  • How are addictions developed?

  • How you can recognize if you have an addiction to something (or someone)?

  • What can be done about having an unhealthy addiction?

Are your kids saying that they are worried about you?

Is your husband asking you to get help for your stress?

Are your friends backing up your families concerns?

Do you feel like no one is helping you?

Do you stay awake at night worried about your relationship with your husband

worried about who your children are going to become

Do you stay awake at  night worried about death

Do you stay awake at night feeling trapped

In a hole you can’t escape from

The thoughts of your children leaving you

During the day too you feel like there is so much pressure that:

You constantly have to have a face that is fake.

You’re hiding what you’re really thinking about because you have to be the perfect woman.

Having no place to be who you really are.

Do you hide your stress with distractions that keep you from thinking about how life really is for you.

being a world of stress and pressure.

  • What is the meaning of life?

  • What is the purpose of my life?

  • Why me God?

  • What did I do to deserve this?

  • Where are you when I need you God?

  • What am I supposed to do I do now?

  • I just don't know what to do anymore.

I was caught in a world that was keeping me in the place I was in. I didn't know what it was I didn't know. How could I?

Then I learned that horses were pattern animals.

These patterns kept them alive in nature. The patterns were the best way to have the best life for themselves. They've had these patterns since birth. They never question them. They only trust them.

Horses have influences that create confidence or induce fear.

There are keys to success that work with horses. These same keys work for success with ourselves.

God put this ability inside of them.

God created us and He created horses.

Understanding the psychology of the horse can help us to better understand ourselves.

If God is our creator and we are his creation, doesn't it make sense that He would know what is best for us?

Trauma:

Are you afraid to let people in?

You feel that you can not trust anyone. Trusting the ones you loved only got you hurt the most.

If the people who should have loved you the most hurt you the deepest, then why should you trust people you barely know to help you out now?

You survived the pain then and it’s still affecting you now.

You keep an inner circle but as much as you want to, you don’t really trust them.

Some people know some things about you, but no one knows everything.

You don’t have a plan for the future, fear of the unknown is paralyzing.

You focus on your inner circle so you have a reason not to connect with anyone outside of your comfort zone.

Are your kids saying that they are worried about you

Is your husband asking you to get help

Are your friends backing up your families concerns

Do you feel like you’re justified in your actions and they just don’t know what they are talking about.
